Our Staff
Our entire staff takes great pride in each staff member's training and capabilities. All staff members attend dental meetings to update them on the most current dental techniques available.
Drs. Heller & Meersand regularly attend nationally and internationally recognized dental continuing education seminars to enhance their clinical skills and general dental knowledge. Both doctors have both completed hundreds of hours of advanced
professional education. They have both been involved in teaching at New York University
College of Dentistry.
We believe that in order to provide you with the best dental care and service possible our office must have a professionally skilled and caring staff. Our office wants you to have the same confidence in our staff that we have.

Natalie & Danielle Natalie (left)has been with our office for over 5 years! She has experience in all facets of dental office administration. She has extensive experience in dealing with dental insurance carriers and she can help you maximize the amount of reimbursement you can receive from them. Natalie will graduate from college this year with a degree in teaching.
Danielle (right)is new to our office and recently graduated from the College of Staten Island with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. Danielle will be the first person you will contact when you call our office and she will do everything possible to make your treatment comfortable and relaxed. She prides herself on individual care and will help you achieve your treatment goals. |

Dr. Michelle Meersand earned her B.S. at Brooklyn College, City University of New York in 1981. She studied in Bologna, Italy in 1982. She received a Master of Letters at Drew University in 1985. She attended New York University College of Dentistry 1987-1991. Dr. Meersand earned her Certificate in Periodontics from New York University College of Dentistry Post Graduate Division in 1993. She has been in private practice on Staten Island since her graduation. Dr. Meersand has been on staff at Beth Israel Medical Center since 1994. She is an active member of the Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association, Second District Dental Society, and is currently responsible for arranging continuing education lectures for the South Shore Dental Study Group on Staten Island. |

Dr. Allen Heller graduated cum laude and earned his B.A. at Queens College, City University of New York in 1974. He graduated New York University College of Dentistry in 1977. He received his Certificate in Periodontics from New York University College of Dentistry Post Graduate Division in 1979. As an Assistant Professor in Periodontics, he taught full time in the Undergraduate Division at New York University College of Dentistry from 1979 to 1980. Dr. Heller became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, in 1993. Dr. Heller was the first periodontist on Staten Island to have achieved Diplomate status. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor and teaches weekly in the Ashman Department of Implant Dentistry New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Heller has been on staff at Beth Israel Medical Center since 1981. He has articles published in the Journal of Periodontology and the New York State Dental Journal. He has been in private practice on Staten Island since 1981. He is an active member of the Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegraion, American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association, and the Second District Dental Society. |
